Disneyland In The Kitchen!

Of course Disneyland doesn't fall short on their desserts however I thought this time around I'd show you some other items you can use for desserts!  We found some great items over in California Adventure and just wanted to buy everything!   Check out these fun and cute kitchen items!

Look at these great pop makers! Not only do you get a great treat but you get Mickey Mouse along with it!

Now of course you can't forget those items you need to put your desserts in! These cups would be great for shaved ice, ice cream, pudding and pretty much any dessert you can think of!

I couldn't pass these up! Mickey Mouse head, hand and a star cookie cutters!  These are about 3 inches big and will make the perfect little cookies for my kids and friends!

Of course what's a kitchen without measuring cups?
I just love the little pictures on each cup! This just makes baking even more fun!!!!

Of course along with those cups you need the measuring spoons to match!

You'll also need all the other utensils to go along with your measuring cups & spoons!  How cute are those handles? I just love all these items!

Now once your done baking you need these fancy pot holders to remove those cute cupcakes and other items from the oven!

Disneyland makes sure that you go all out in your kitchen with the fantasy of Disney!  It's like taking home a part of Disneyland with you.

I have to admit they did have other items in the store. Like a silicone baking pan, silicone mini mickey's, timers, salt and pepper shakers and cute aprons however the people working there sort of gave me a strange look after I took a few pictures! With that I paid for my cookie cutters and got out of there! I love all these items and you have to go there to get your hands on some before their all gone!!

Disneyland Desserts!

Today we walked the Disneyland park in search of some desserts that would make you want another one right after you finished the first one!  Well, we found two desserts that did just that! While waiting for my son to go through the Jedi Training I slipped off to get some chocolate mousse.

This wasn't just mousse.  They layered chocolate sauce on the bottom, mousse, oreo crumble, whipped cream, more mousse topped off with a cute mickey mouse chocolate face.
We couldn't stop eating this dessert! It was amazing!
Look at that chocolate mickey mouse!

We walked the park some more and found some on the go treats that you could pick up right away.  Sometimes you just want to grab a treat on the run and Disneyland has plenty of those types of treats to buy. You'll find these great fast treats all over the park in their wonderful shops.

They also have items you can pick up for a friend that are wrapped in these great boxes! Perhaps you just want to sneak one back to the hotel room for a midnight snack...... ;-)

Night time came fast and we settled in over at a cafe in the New Orleans section.  We ordered a plate of beignets!  What's a beignet? It's a pastry made from deep fried dough and dusted with confectioner's sugar. Extremely similar to the Italian zeppole!

Look at this!  Mickey Mouse shaped beignets!  They had this creme brulee to dip it in.

]
The other side had a grape jelly to dip into.

Just amazing!

We just couldn't get enough of these desserts today! Disneyland sure does do dessert right!

Treats at Disneyland!

Disneyland was crowded today! However, we didn't allow that to stop us from having fun or finding some great desserts!  We saw plenty of people with cotton candy and popcorn today.  Many had frozen lemon aid to drink but we were searching for a cute little treat!  We finally found one when we sat down for lunch!

Lunch today was at the Village Haus. Located right next to the Tangled house!
This cute little place offered up some decent burgers and pizza.

Check out this great picture we saw in the Village Haus.  Besides that great picture catching my eye this amazing cupcake (pictured below) was calling my name!

This is a Black Forrest Cherry Cupcake.  Look at that chocolate on top!

The cream on top with the cherry finished off the appeal of this cupcake!

It didn't take us long to cut this cupcake open!  There were these amazing cherries inside the cupcake! They really didn't skip on this one. There were lots of cherries, tons of whip cream and all the chocolate you could want in a cupcake! This was one tasty treat!

Next up we stopped in the New Orleans section of Disneyland to grab some dinner. Since it was so late we just grabbed some dinner but I did happen to snap a shot of some desserts they offered.

Above:  This is a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse. I might have to go
back tomorrow and try this one! Looked really good.

Above:  Here we have an Apple Strudel.  I love apples so I might go back
and get one of these too!

Disney sure does know how to serve up some yummy treats!  On our way out I saw some amazing desserts that we're going to get our hands on tomorrow!  Stay tuned for more amazing desserts! Straight from the happiest place on earth!

Dessert at Disneyland!

For the next few days we're going to bring you some desserts from Disneyland! Our first stop on our trip was to Downtown Disney!

We heard there was this cute little shop located right in Downtown Disney that had some cute cupcakes! We didn't have to go far because it was the first store we found!

The Cupcake Store is located right near the ESPN Zone and it's hard to miss with this cute sign just screaming cupcakes! If your a cupcake fan and love all things cupcakes - then this is your place!  They have cute items like dishes, teapots and aprons displayed  in front of the little shop.

How cute is this plate? I need  this!

 Cupcake apron anyone?

How about some tea with that cupcake?

 What cute decorations!

We know besides those cute items you want to see those cupcakes! I got a few shots of their single serve cupcakes they offer the public!

In this photo above there is a red velvet cupcake in the back that was bought two seconds after I snapped this photo! Yummy!

I'm not sure what's going on here but the one on the left looked like a coconut cupcake with a strawberry!

See that one in the back? That's a oreo crumble cupcake! That looks so gooooood!!!!

The dessert train didn't stop there!  We had some dinner with a few friends that came out to meet us. We got a table over at The Rainforest Cafe which was also located in Downtown Disney.  I have to say they treated us right. After a great talk with the manager who made sure we had NO peanut issues (my son has an allergy) she went ahead and gave us dessert for free because our food was taking a little longer then it should have.
We got to have the Volcano!
                                                               Check this dessert out!

This dessert is THREE very BIG pieces of brownie and three scoops of vanilla ice cream in the middle and whipped cream on the top. Then they topped it off with this cute decorative piece that made the volcano look like it was exploding!  Talk about yummy!

Our first day of searching for amazing desserts at Disney was great!  I can't wait to see what we find tomorrow!!
